Kinsey’s landmark sexuality research project began in 1938, resulting in Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), also known as the “Kinsey Reports.” Dr. Kinsey’s research during the first 20 years of his career at Indiana University involved the study of gall wasps.
