Professor Nigel Holt joined the psychology department from Bath Spa University as a senior lecturer in psychology in September, 2012. Nigel was awarded his PhD from University of York after which he worked in industry for a short spell before returning to academia as a research fellow in auditory psychology at University of Reading. Nigel’s main research topics are in the relationship between sound and different aspects of cognition including memory, attention and performance. He has many other research interests including most recently, the perception of time and the psychology of cycling and transport.Read More
