The different and multifarious styles of contemporary Music in Yemen have seen a variety of influences, such as from Turkey, Egypt, Greece, India and East Africa. Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula, has developed a musical history reflecting pan-Arabian enculturation, as well as Yemenite Jewish influences, producing a cultural nexus and hub.
